Lee Seung-bok Memorial Hall was established in November 1968 to commemorate the life of Lee Seung-bok who was murdered by armed communist guerrilla after shouting “I hate Communists.”
It is a place that contains the spirit of sacrifice of Lee Seung-bok and makes you look back on the cruelty of the ideology in the Cold War Era. Thirteen oil paintings recording the life of Lee Seung-bok, 106 pieces of equipment such as tanks, helicopters and combat aircraft and 33 articles left by him are exhibited.
