Because it snowed a lot every winter, our ancestors tied up lines to the next doors and made snow tunnels to visit each other along the lines. There were tough times that they hit large rocks in the river to hunt fish for feeding themselves when the stream becomes frozen over due to cold river breeze earlier.
The hardship of the lives of our ancestors was sublimated into a festival which is held during the period from the end of December to the end of January every year with the theme of the winter story with snow, ice and trout.
