Noeun Valley

The valley, which is located in Banglim 1-ri, Banglim-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, runs approx. 4 km to Noeun-ri, Pyeongchang-eup from the Hapcheonso Pond where the Pyeongchang River and Gyechoncheon Stream are merged. It shows an outstanding view along the Pyeongchanggang River.

The mountain stream is deep and wide with sandy and cobblestone fields, making it suitable for camping and swimming in the water.

The Noeun Valley is wide valley formed by the Pyeongchanggang River flowing in a S-shaped way and it has abundant water supply and clean water quality. The sparse, sheer cliffs and rivers harmonize with the scenery and the wide river is great for hunting. Therefore, fishing is often seen. There are a lot of marsh snails in the water, so it is fun to pick up.

Transportation is inconvenient. So you have to take a city bus from Banglim Intersection and get off at Banglim 1-ri or take a taxi from Banglim-myeon to the valley.

To go by car, take National Road No. 42 and drive for about 40 minutes past Anheung, turning left at the signpost of Noeun Valley.

Many tourist attractions including Ungyo Tourist Farm, Cheonjedang, Dokkiso Pond, Tetidaesu and Baekdeoksan Mountain (1,350 m)
